I often notice my students use words incorrectly. They keep on using the common confused and misused words. They are sometimes confused of the words which have closer spelling and same pronunciation as well. Thus, making it hard for me to understand them and lead them to embarrassing mistakes. It’s okay if they commit mistakes in my class because I can immediately correct them. But what if they’re out of the four- corner classroom and they’re with other people?
Proper enunciation of words of words and right choice of words to use is really important to have a good conversation. Communicating with other people is more meaningful if the speakers are able to use words/expressions correctly. Non-English speakers do common mistakes.
