My brother and niece go to the same school and last month they had an educational trip. They visited an institution where blind people are pampered  with love, care and Education as well. This is done to help themselves live a normal life and cope up with their daily living in spite of their disabilities physically and emotionally.

Davao School and Rehabilitation Center for Visually Impaired is formerly known as Davao School for the Blind and Development Center or DSBRC.It’s a residential school located in Bago Aplaya, Talomo Davao City, Philippines. It was established on August 14, 1981 and is recognized by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports or DECS. In addition, it caters residents’ education and rehabilitation needs for school age children.

The school provides free Elementary Education including Educational materials, free board and lodging and other necessities, the school can afford.Below is the Center’s Mission and Goal.

To provide with quality education to make the visually impaired persons totally accepted to the mainstream of society.

Vision

There should be self-reliance, self-propagating and self-sustaining institution that serve as a vehicle towards the total development of the visually impaired persons.

I have seen people with disabilities who are succesful in their lives.They became responsible and succesful citizens in the society. If you notice, there are instances when physically and mentally challenged people have better living than those abled ones! If that’s the case, disabilities is not a hindrance. It’s up to people if they want to make the best out of their life.

My profession doesn’t belong to fashion and designing. It has nothing to do with product presentation or arrangements of things. I’m not an interior designer but I love doing it. When I’m at the mall I give myself a chance to see Tradeshow Exhibits and be amazed with their wonderful creations. As of now that I’m staying with my family so my mom is the one who decides on what to put inside and outside our house. In the future If I’m gonna have my own house I already made a blue print for it (^_^)

I have a childhood friend who’s an architecture student and I can feel that he’s really good at it. He had made Custom Exhibits for his school projects, business purposes and special request by people who believe in him.

If we are endorsing something, display has a great impact in getting people’s attention, curiosity, and amor to buy what we offer to the public. A Tradeshow Display is definitely a wise idea! I just got home. I’m kinda tired because I wasn’t able to take a nap this afternoon. Well it’s still fine. I had a great Sunday! I went to church with my family, we had our lunch at the mall, I saw a movie together with mom and special someone, got some grocery items and went back home. Last week my sisters watched the latest Philippine movie on big screen- My Only U. Since I didn’t go out with them my mom treated us!

I feel good after hearing the Sunday sermon. It made me feel refresh again. Today’s message reminds us to understand better the true meaning of “God’s grace“.
